As a Client Onboarding Specialist, you’ll help set the tone for a seamless, compliant, and high-quality experience. You’ll guide clients through the setup process, review documentation, and ensure everything checks out, laying the groundwork for lasting relationships built on confidence and care.

Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused Onboarding Specialist to join our Sydney team. You’ll manage the end-to-end onboarding journey, from collecting documents to performing due diligence, while working closely with the Sales and Compliance teams.

It’s part operations, part customer care, and fully essential to how we grow responsibly.

Note: At Blueberry, moving with purpose means showing up, connecting, and building momentum together. This role is based onsite in Sydney, Monday to Friday, where the real magic happens.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manage the full onboarding process for new clients

  • Conduct KYC and AML checks to ensure every account is compliant

  • Review customer documentation and identification files thoroughly

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to collect and verify onboarding documents

  • Identify and escalate any suspicious findings in line with compliance policies

  • Keep clear records of all onboarding actions for audits and internal review

  • Help improve internal processes based on emerging trends and regulations

  • Meet and exceed KPIs related to accuracy, timeliness, and service quality

Desired Skills and Experience

Who We’re Hoping to Find

  • 1–2 years of experience in client onboarding, account management, or customer service

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred

  • Completed or willing to complete RG146 Financial Services accreditation

  • Strong understanding of compliance, customer identification, and onboarding regulations

  • High attention to detail and excellent time management

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)

  • Analytical thinker with solid judgment and problem-solving skills

  • Familiar with CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot

  • Team player with a passion for excellent customer service

  • Bonus: Mandarin or Cantonese language skills
